CASE STUDY EXAMPLE:
Alternative Technology Company, Austin, TX
PROJECT OVERVIEW:
PK30 System collaborated with Revel Architecture in San Francisco, CA, to help shape the design of a new “Headquarters for the Americas” in Austin, TX. This project aimed to integrate the client’s global design standards while capturing the distinct spirit of Austin. Through carefully chosen colors and materials, a space was crafted that reflects the unique urban character and personality of the city, resulting in a seamless blend of the brand’s identity with Austin’s vibrant style.
CHALLENGE:
One of the most ambitious aspects of this project was the transformation of an enclosed atrium, initially designed as a light well, into a dynamic, collaborative central hub. Working closely with Revel, PK30 System helped redefine this space as a “beating heart” for the building, promoting social interaction and unifying the design across the entire office. The installation featured unique elements, including custom grill patterns, full-height mortise locks, truly divided lights, electromagnetic locks, and integrated conference room schedulers, all selected to elevate functionality and aesthetics.
In total, PK30 System provided 33 swing doors and 94 fixed panels, creating flexible and adaptable spaces that align perfectly with the office’s collaborative and open-concept vision.
CONCLUSION:
PK30 System’s dedication to quality and innovation helped turn architectural challenges into design opportunities, resulting in a workspace that embodies the client’s values and vision. Our solutions not only enhance the look and feel of the space but also support the evolving needs of a modern office environment.
